A few weeks ago I got my debit card stolen. It wasn’t a big deal, the bank refunded the lost money and everything. But one interesting wrinkle to come out of that, was that because I had to be sent a new card - a lot of the direct debits I had set up previously proceeded to fail to go through. Specifically Spotify and Netflix. And rather than setting them up again with the new card, I instead chose to just let them go. And you know what? I don’t miss them at all.
