Spent New Years eating pizza with my boyfriend, ‘playing’ Megaman 11 (dying over and over again) and watching The Big Lebowski. All pretty wholesome and lowkey really. One of the good ones. We were originally planning on going outside at midnight to see the fireworks, but couldn’t be bothered in the end because it was too wet and cold, and also we were already in bed so… 

Today I saw on the news (app) that London had an LGBT themed section of their annual fireworks display. I never feel right about the word “display” in the context of the London fireworks, because display is almost too non-commital…
