Do you like New Years? I know it’s become sort of fashionable to say you don’t these days, but I honestly, truthfully don’t like it. I’m not ever 100% sure why I don’t vibe with it, but I really do find it difficult. One common complaint people have about New Years is that there tends to be too much expectation associated with it - the pressure to “have a good time”. I get that, but I’ve never much felt that pressure because I can’t bear to ever pretend I’m having a good time. I don’t really care if people think I’m a killjoy or whatever, I just know what I like. That’s why I leave parties early and rarely finish TV box sets - I don’t need to know how The Walking Dead ends (I assume they killed all the zombies and lived happily ever after?)
