02.08.23 [RIP Paul Reubens Edition]
I can’t believe Paul Ruebens has died. Pee-Wee’s Playhouse was probably one of the most formative TV shows of my childhood, and I credit it with informing my sense of humor. As a repressed, queer kid - seeing something as unapologetically camp and anarchic as Pee-Wee on TV was kind of mind blowing for me at the time.
