It’s my sister’s birthday today. She’s 30 years old, which is mindblowing to me because she’s my little sister and of course that makes perfect sense chronologically, but I dunno - time just seems to move so quickly. I don’t think either one of us really feels our age - I know that I’m not the same kind of 33 as some of the other 33 year olds I know. They’re a lot more mature, generally. But my sister seems to be dealing with it perfectly fine. I had a little bit of sadness around turning 30 because it felt like I hadn’t quite achieved all the things I had planned on achieving, but nearly 4 years into my 30’s, I have to admit - it’s been alright.
