Heya. I’ve not posted an update in a little while - mainly because I’ve been on holiday. I spent 5 lovely days in Dublin, Ireland (which I’ve never been to before). I stayed with my good pal Pea and her very gracious family.
I’ve not actually been away for a very long time. The last proper get away I went on, I think, was to Berlin for 3 days, about 6 or 7 years ago. That was also the last time I’d been on a plane, so I was slightly nervous about it. I hate having to explain why I get nervous flying - you can’t invent a gravity defying, comprehension bending form of leisure travel, which for the record has a risk of death associated with it, and then call someone irrational for being a bit scared. I don’t want to hear about coconut or shark bite statistics, what the hell do they have to do with anything? I’m worried about burning to death inside a metal shell and plummeting to the ground.
