Hi there. Nice to see you again.
It's 8am and I am up, dressed and ready for the day. I don't want you to think I've now suddenly got my life in order or anything, I've just decided to try and embrace my natural sleep cycle .When I wake up now, I just get up. I'm not ruling out a lay in, ever , but I'm hoping that if I do this, then maybe I'll be able to get to sleep a bit earlier in the evening. Also, I get more done in the mornings.
What inspired me to do this is an old BBC documentary about sleep from the 1960's. I was editing it for a project I'm working on, and it actually turned out to be pretty interesting. I guess one big problem though, is that the film is from the 1960s, and I'm sure most of the information in it is now disproven, or even incredibly dangerous. For instance, I also now have a huge desire to smoke and engage in casual homophobia, misogyny and racism. That's what happens when you spend too much time with old media.
