I’m hoping that this year is going to be my “Taking My Time” era. It’s kind of hard to explain, but I feel like last year I rushed a lot of stuff. I have this habit, creatively, where I get an idea - and I get so eager to communicate that idea that I’ll often start work on it immediately, or put something out really soon after I come up with it. I start a project with a lot of momentum, and then when people don’t seem to resonate with the idea in the way that I did, I get disillusioned and throw the project away. I do this with podcasts a lot, for example. Last year I must have started 3 or 4 different podcasts, most of which have been abandoned. I’m the podcast vampira, leaving a trail of emaciated podcast husks in my wake.
