I changed the title of my show. It’s no longer called “Doll” and is instead called “I’m Straight Now” and is about how I’m actually straight now. “Doll” was always supposed to be a sort of placeholder title, just while I figured out what the show was. One thing I’ve learned about developing shows over the past few years is that it can be a misstep to “decide” what the show is before you start it. Some people I know are really good at this, and will write a piece into existence, but I definitely work a lot better with just following threads & topics of interest, and then letting the thing show me what it is when it’s ready to.
