What You’re Missing: “... apart from working on my show, I’ve mainly been reading House of Leaves …” 

There was a snail inside my bedroom today, just hanging there on the wall by the window. It definitely wasn’t there yesterday, so it must have gotten in today, which is impressive because I only had my window open for about an hour (if that) - so presumably, in that small window (window) of time, this snail not only managed to orientate itself in the right direction, but also managed to be just speedy enough to get through it before I closed the window again. Let me remind you that snails aren’t known for their perception or their speed. I’m not going to lie, I was impressed. So impressed, in fact, that I decided to let the little sucker stay in my room over the weekend while I’m in the Midlands. Hell, maybe I’ll let it stay as long as it likes – in my view, if you pull of a feat like that then fair play to you. That’s deserved. Have my bed.
